For those of you who have looked through my gallery, you know very well about my pictures of Kentucky Central #11 which sat on a siding in Paris, KY for over 17 years.
Recently she was moved to a park in Nicholasville, KY and is now finally being taken care of. Here is a comparison shot of her taken today above a picture of what she looked like not 3 months ago.

The steam chest covers and presumably some of the "jewelery" or at least copies are supposed to be put back on once Spring arrives and work resumes on the engine. Not sure if they are going to restrip it or not. However she is supposed to be relettered for the R.I.N.&B Railroad that the park is named after.
Especially remarkable for Kentucky where under normal circumstances this would never had even gotten past the idea stage let alone thought up and moved inside of three weeks.
However the combination of the Central KY NHRS's hand being forced by land owners (who said move it NOW before it's torched) and RJ Corman needing good PR for a bunch of projects he's starting soon in the area got this done.
