Dipper returns to the Academy, to the smirks of his fellow cadets.
He then has a long conversation with his best friend, Bobby Thornbody.
Then, he experiences his first summer as an Assistant Squadron Leader.
This is a long chapter, but necessary. The scene where Zim tricks Dipper into shouting his engagement I've been planning for years.
The scene with Rico at The Dip I had initially planned for the chapter about Dipper's Basic Training, but the chapter got too long. I really did not want to leave it out this time.

Yay, I could hear my voice among the cadets! :D SquirrellyJ also did a terrific job in this too.
I'm glad that Bobby took all of the news well and is getting along fine with Guthrie_Daniels. Looks like they'll be doing OK.

And once again KDNightstar plays an excellent Zim. I wouldn't want to get on her bad side, that's for sure, I'd hate to her to scream her head off at me. :D

The Beach Bears said, it took me years to learn how to do my voice acting properly. When I first started out, I was horrible at it, and it sounded more like I was just reading stuff, rather than acting. I'm pretty proud of how far I've come since then.

The whole line needs to be heard for you to understand hte context. "Do you 'love' her or are you 'in love' with her?" Loving someone and being in love with them are two entirely different things, and Bobby was trying to see if Dipper was going through all of this because he was actually in love. As he said, through all the times Dipper said he loved Bobby, he never said he was in love with him. With Emily, that was different.
Wally Wolven is actually my secondary account. I use that for anything related to Wally OR anything that ISN'T Bobby or Sam, such as my voice for Rico or the voice used among the other cadets. I'm credited under both names because, as you know, I use Bobby in the chapter as well.
