I'm not really all that handy with pencil and paper just yet, but occasionally I try my hand at it anyway, damning the torpedoes and what have you.
Back in the day I was really into Digimon--like really, really into Digimon; it was actually what led me into this thing called "furry" in the first place--and WarGreymon happened to be my favorite, with WereGarurumon a runner-up not far behind. This piece was intended to bring some elements of both together using Terra the shapeshifter as a canvas/laboratory for that experiment.
As you can see, I'm not the best artist out there. The head's way too big, lots of weird perspective and shading problems, but hey, I gave it a shot, right? One doesn't improve if one doesn't at least work on it.
But it set the stage for some things down the road, including the notion of a character with a split/dual nature--one some of you know I've already fleshed out elsewhere. And in the meantime, it was a fun practice.
