SonicSweeti was doing a Weekly Wing-It for October. Normally those get snatched up almost immediately, but somehow I had the luck to get the Week 3 slot.

I admit, I was a little worried about getting it. I've had bad experiences with artists, but I've commissioned Sweeti a lot and figured I would just go with it. I am quite happy with the end result. Usually Xander's characters are more associated with demons and devils, and my characters are associated with angels and the heavens. But since this is Halloween, I'm actually really pleased that their mythologies have been flipped. I also kind of wonder why Xander is cornering that kitty. He'd never hurt a cat, but I think for a story: he might have had some "special" brownies without realizing and actually thinks the cat is an old feral friend.

Also I can imagine Sadie wearing red horns, a red cape, and carrying a pitchfork in her mouth. I might get that next year if Sweeti is open.

I was thinking of saving this picture for later into November. I wanted to get Exi a birthday gift, but the artist fell through. Still, it is Halloween, so I am happy to get this up.

Remember: don't eat too much candy. Tomorrow is another day.
