This is a recent horror story I just learned of. To see it for yourself please check out this link: http://alturl.com/h2v8q I demand justice for this dog. You can see some of my rant on the link there. I ranted even more on my personal page. I'm not to ranting here (yet) Someone has to pay for this CRIME though. Namely, the irresponsible owner and the neglectful shelter worker who didn't give a crap. Shown is a photo of Missy herself and the artwork she inspired from me.

That is so sad. Poor thing..
Makes me think about chipping my cat so nothing ever happens to her. :C

I highly recommend doing so. Its a very quick and in expensive thing to do that can make a world of difference. Your local humane society may have a very low cost program. I know here ours will chip pets for 15.00.

Is it a painful process? Like how does chipping an animal work, exactly?

It does hurt them a little. They use a large gauge needle to insert the chip, which is the size of a grain of rice under the skin of thier shoulder. Sunny did kiyipe when he got his but was ok with lovings and a treat.

Its so sad that this happened. I did go to my dogs microchip page and made sure everything was up to date. Also uploaded a more recent photo of him since his face has greyed out since the old ID pic was taken.

I'd say do it :< All my animals have microchips (in addition to their tags & multiple contact #'s) I keep my cat indoors, but she has all that anyway just in case. XD

Sunny has been stolen once. I was very very lucky in getting him back. He was not chipped back then tho.
