It turns out CPS is looking for Doggeth, because the law states that dogs can't look after a hooman. So CPS constantly monitors the house from the outside waiting for the dog family to slip.
Doggeth was happy there, but according to paper he's not suppose to be there (there's nothing). They know Trixi and Josh have him, but it's not official.
Doggeth prefers to stay with Josh, when he stayed with Josh and Pink CPS still followed the trail. So Josh leaves Doggeth with Pink and Alfie.
If neither Trixi or Josh have Doggeth the trail goes cold...and hopefully CPS will lose interest.

How about that? A dingo and a wolf looking after a hooman.
