For the love of Satan, keep this character. He seems pretty original, as long as he doesn't end up being another brother in the family. Everyone's so used to the brother's you have, they are like a trademark gang at this point. I don't think to highly of making him some "long lost brother" out of the blue. He could be a neighbor, perhaps!
