On every month of October, the spirit world crosses paths with ours. During this time, many creatures, malevolent and wicked walk the earth, stirring fear into the hearts of the living.
Such is also the case in this little town. Its inhabitants having to seek shelter in shacks and cabins, as the night falls. For eons, they had no way of protecting themselves against the evils lurking outside.
That is until one day their town was visited by a lone traveler. She was seemingly an ordinary nun looking for a new church to inhabit and spread the word of the Lord. She was, however, anything but ordinary.
That night, townspeople bared witness to their new protector fighting back demons and other unholy creatures of the night, using a whip, a cross, and the heels of her boots.
The nun was in actuality a demon slayer. An ex-criminal, given a chance to atone for her sins by becoming a protector for the people of God.
If she were to seek salvation for herself, she'd have to do the Lord's work. One whipcrack at a time.

Finally created something in time for Halloween. I haven't really done holiday specific artworks since December 2017. (Mostly because I don't celebrate any)
Anyway, ever since I made my Nun Rouge 3d model, I've got some Castlevania vibes from it. I decided to draw something based on it and, well, here's the result. Instead of hunting Dracula, she keeps the demons at bay. Hence the name Demon Slayer.
