This is a world in which all forests and all water are connected by a magical forest and a magical river, through which you can get to anywhere in the world. On this magical river, Vanessa got to a distant Siberian village, where the main action takes place. She also had an adopted son, a mermaid. She and her son are secondary characters, but I still wanted to design her
