Well that's definanetly something important. Was she born with it and because she didn't take the medicine the lead 'expanded'? Was at one point she was knocked out and experimented on? (that might also explain why she accidently killed that one fighter) there's all sorts of possibilities
Ooh...I like it. Suitably tragic without being angsty, "humanizes" her a great deal, explains who she is and why...
Color me impressed. In a worst-case scenario, you can maybe fall back on writing. And if you can do both, you could be a comic artist...there's good money in good comics nowadays.
