Apprentice's lecture
"Yoshi, help!"
I heard Syperius shouting from a short distance. I immediately bolted towards the source of the voice but couldn't see her due a thick fog. It was a dark night.
"Sype, where are you!?" I shouted.
"O-over here!" She responded.
I continued running and then the greenish glow caught my eyes and I found her laying on her belly. Her arms were burned almost to ashes, third degree burns all the way to the bones. I recognized the orb and immediately grabbed by the collar of her costume and pulled her away from the orb and against a tree. She couldn't at first look at her arms but when I grabbed her left arm she then looked at it and due to shock began a heart (and ear) breaking scream. She couldn't feel her arms at all. They were still badly burning.
I was very mad at her but at the same time relieved she was otherwise ok. I began to cast my most powerful healing magic that immediately sank into her cells and dna and began to reconstruct the burned tissue. Her arms were cracking and slowly the burned tissue fell off.
"Oh Sype, what have I told you..." I quietly whispered and scowled at her.
But I couldn't be mad at her. I knew Syperius was a stubborn apprentice but seeing her crying and being so scared for her life made me feel more pity than angry. It hurt her biceps and shoulders but not the exact arms. No wonder since her nerves were completely burned off from the burned arms.
I had warned her about magical ancient orbs that she shouldn't touch them. But it seems she had to learn the hard way. And I hope she sure was not going to look for another orb. That reminds me I have to think what should I do with the one Syperius found. It seems it was more dangerous than I thought they could be...

syperius
I had mixed up feelings of this picture but she assures it looks fine. I believe her words and show you all finished work.
Enjoy

No good can be coming from the magic you cannot comprehend
The bad experience can be experience as well... though sometimes these lessons can be fatal
Good thing that she is good at healing
And i would not say that these hands will become same ever again - the scars will remain. And they will be a reminder for foolishness yet a very good one
Awesome work! Very intense and very interesting even in terms of reading the story
