In the post-apocalyptic world where Blue lives, there are incredibly hot summers and incredibly cold winters due to the nuclear smog in the sky. Lights from the old skeletons of cities, where refugees are holding up to survive the cold, sometimes look like glimmering stars against the backdrop of the dark, barren surroundings.
