I was taking a smoke break at work and I found this bird just sitting on the ground by the back door. I released it in the sun to warm up.

:3 I caught a raven this spring that had somehow managed to crash into the grass net to my mom's hair salon , the lawn care guy found it and did not know what to do , so i picked it up and petted its little head and just held it for a while ..it cooed a few times , mom wouldn't let me carry it into the shop ...so I sat it in the soft grass next to the ramp so that no one would run over it or something. I think it was just attled because when I came back after a few mins it was gone ..which was good, I was afraid it was hurt or something ..it was a neat experience though
hey ive saved one of those birds before and this is how it happend.
i was sitting down one morning(but it was still dark) outside waiting for breakfast(by a window) and I heard a big thud thinking someone knoked on the window, then i looked down to my right side seeing a little greenish bird with a yellow under belly lying on it's back, just panting for air very much in pain. I picked up the little guy and left im in my hands untill breakfast started because the poor bird was stunned and didn't want to fly for a while( it tried a couple of times but failed). After some time he was feeling better so I tossed it in the air and it happily flew away. :)

My boyfriend found one of those once. :V We were driving along, and suddenly he just stopped on the side of the road. I was like "uhh, what are you doing??" he goes out and comes back in with a little tanager (Looks like you were holding a male one) in his hands. The poor little gal got hit by a car, and he saw it so he was able to save her. The only injury was a broken leg, but we took her to a bird rehabilitation center so they could help her out.
