This has been a very short story that has been in my head for a long time, and is connected to my co-creator's Fimfiction setting of "The Sour Grapes Chronicles" https://www.fimfiction.net/story/71.....pes-chronicles
Lately I just decided to go for it and commissioned the artist Henbe https://www.furaffinity.net/user/henbe/ , who has done some work for me in the past as well as has made his own comics set in the Frendship is Magic setting.
I think he did rather well.
Often Sour Grapes, the owner of Grapevine Hills winds up playing big sister/den mother to many of those in her employ, such as the bat-winged 'Nightpony' named Earshot. Because of his nocturnal nature, Earshot has also many of the other natural abilities of bats beyond possessing leathery wings and natural radar. Sometimes his natural tendencies comes back to bite him in the end.
Commentary and criticism is always welcome, as long as it is constructive.
