Making it even worse is honestly the fact that she's part of Sonic's team at all. She feels like she's there just for the sake of it. The way we know her from the games, we'd never think of her as the type to pal around with Sonic, Knuckles, Tails and Amy on a regular basis, she's the type to go do things on her own or with Shadow and Omega. So this makes me wonder if they've just totally gotten rid of her jewel thief femme fatale characterization for this show to facilitate her being a generic do-gooder with little to really contribute.
