Wind dragons have a special sensitivity to wind currents. They can feel its change, where it comes from, its strength, and its humidity.
A very useful and important ability when travelling, helping them anticipate and adapt their flight on the moment, and sometimes even feeling potential menaces coming their way.
So... why the ribbon ? It's a tool Aeryl use as a sort of weathercock, showing others (and sometimes himself) in which direction the wind is coming from and the turbulency associated. Plus... he just enjoys wearing it, and think it's really pretty !
I owe a huge thank you to Monstra_Ren who made this as a raffle prise ! It's the first time ever i got one so i was quite surprised ><
But i'm super happy with the result, Aeryl looking just happy as ever and so cute waving his ribbon ! There's a really nice "movement" feel to it that i enjoy much !

And yes i like to think of it as a weather predictor of sorts ! I just like the idea of it floating in the wind while he flies, showing its direction, and just making a nice effect ! Plus it's also nice when others are flying with him ^^

He is simply nice and pure with this blue color that looks like a clear skies, he is free like cloud that goes wherever it wants, and these hairs are gorgeous especially while they wave in the wind
And his smile is warm and beautiful like a sunny day
