Lil quick doodle of Dr Sunflower in the Old Western AU and how he looked very much like OG Sunflower in his past before he decided to head West for the Land of the Free where anyone, even automatons, can make something of themselves.
Before that he was merely a machine designed to look after the kids of a rich family, though he always only stay very vague about his past whenever someone tries to ask him about it. He doesn't like to think about the past, for many reasons. Doesn't want it mixed together with the person he is now.
Besides changes in fashion and attitude, other minor things changed over time since then. Due to lack of maintenance on his eyes they faded to lose the iris and just become a blank white. Doesn't change much to his eyesight and he likes the blank eye look, cuz then people can't see ya got shifty eyes and got no ideas what you are observing at any time. He feels that fits him better.
Does give him a pretty eyesight in low light, can't see well without enough light. Why he doesn't travel at night when he's moving between towns in his wagon. Even with a clear sky and a full moon is hard for him to see now.
