To give you guys an idea of our comic creation process between 
Waimbert and myself, we tend to have multiple storyboards for each page, each of which has the panels done from different angles and poses. Up above was one of the alternate versions of the 7th panel of our latest comic page, but we ended up with them laughing together instead, to fit the vibe best. I didn't want anyone to think these two were starting to act romantic to each other but at the same time I didn't want them to fall into the cliche of them defaulting to talking about their boyfriends to each other, so for the flow of the comic itself felt it was best not to pick this one XD
However, we liked how this panel looked on its own, so decided to make it its own side image that Waimbert went on to flesh out :D
