Bescal (he/him) is a battle oracle. He became a soldier fairly young, but once his service was up, he turned to banditry. He and his gang of former soldiers terrorized travelers for many years. Then, he got his hands on something that even the person he was robbing was begging him not to touch, for his own safety. Bescal didn't listen and now he's cursed by a dark entity that now resides within him, requiring him to fight or his body will languish and wither. He's since become an adventurer out of necessity. While sparring does appease the entity for a time, he does need to battle to the death to truly stave off the curse. Thankfully, adventuring is often a dangerous job.

I played this character in a one-shot with my Pathfinder group recently, I liked him so much I drew him. He was a lot of fun to play!
