On a mission to neutralize Lex Luthor and his daughter, Frost and Miss Martian fell into a trap when they were knocked unconscious by a powerful sleeping gas. When they awoke, they were bound/gagged tightly with no way to escape, including Miss Martian, whose inhibitor necklace she wears around her neck neutralizes her powers, making her as helpless as a human, and Frost can't use her cryonics to free herself because of a drug injected into her that neutralizes her power.
