After the events of the TV movie Equestria girls 2 : Rainbow rocks, Applejack decided to visit family members in Astoria, Oregon with Applebloom and Big McIntosh. Unfortunately, the Dazzling trio of Adagio, Aria and Sonota, not having digested the defeat that Sunset Shimmer and her friends inflicted on them while thwarting their plan, decided to take revenge by kidnapping Applejack.
Unfortunately, without her pendant to defend herself against the unexpectedly evil trio, Applejack was bound/gagged in a secluded section of Canterlot high school and then placed in Adagio's car while waiting to decide where the texan would be sent to get rid of her.
