Key art for my thesis film! For those of you who might not be aware, I'm doing a fully animated documentary about the furry community! A bunch of my friends and classmates are contributing their own characters and interview sound bites to create my film and I am super super excited! This week's assignment for my thesis class though was to design a few "key arts" or sample stills of what the finished film could look like. Here is a sample of what one of two of the kinds of segments in my film will look like; a talking head, featuring my sona Peaches in a fun background of my choosing. I was advised to put characters in "interesting" looking backgrounds, so I decided to make things as self indulgent as possible and make something Burtony, with some causal, affectionate parody cameos.
