Long before the events of the TV movie Equestria girls 1, Sunset Shimmer spent a lot of time martyring several students at Canterlot high school including the human version of Twilight Sparkle's friends where she played bad pranks on them and more specifically Pinkie Pie where she tended to pick on her in particular because of her outgoing and horny side of duty that could turn into uncomfortable harassment at times that she realized.
With the complicity of her minions Snips and Snails, the trio waited for Pinkie Pie to finish her cheerleading routine before tying/gagging her in the locker room to taunt her by taking several pictures before threatening to publish it in the school newspaper if she didn't resign from her cheerleading position.
