"The root of all evil is greed". You are not greedy; you are passionate and exceptionally talented. Artists that are passionate about their works are not wealthy in terms of money. Their wealth comes in a different form which is infinitely greater. I know that this concept doesn't put food on the table and makes you question your worth and ability. Let me be very clear Makoto: you are doing nothing wrong; the issue is not you or your art. I cannot say what the issue might be for certain; perhaps it's the audience this artist is catering towards, maybe he has some backdoor deals happening, perhaps he's got some hidden quid-pro-quo with his buyers, any number of reasons could exist and none of them would make any sense to you. If anything, knowing the reasons might even make you more upset. Don't compare yourself to another, especially when it comes to your talent (I would be happy with a fourth of what you are capable of and I've tried for years). Your works and talent and style are important and magical, it's why I and others follow you and fav your works. Eventually, it will come into it's own. Personally, I'd like to buy a commission from you...eventually, money is always the issue. Don't stop doing you Thunderstorm-Lioness, I promise it will pan out, just keep at it. If this is what you love doing, then everything else will fall into place. When? Where? these are anyone's guess, but the only time you lose is if you stop doing what you love. Hang in there, I believe in you.
