Probably one of my favorite Japanese urban legends / Yokai that I've come across. Better known as "The slit-mouth Woman", she's a malevolent figure in Japanese urban legends / folklore who covers her face with a surgical face mask and approaches potential victims as she removes her mask showing her slit mouth and asks "do you think I'm beautiful?" If the victim answers "no" she'll kill the victim with her surgical scissors. However if the victim answers "yes" she will slit the mouth of the victim from ear to ear resembling her appearance. The only way to survive her is to answer "average" to her question or distracting her with money or hard candies.
