"Ah... Hola, mi amigo. Did I startle you? Mis disculpas, it wasn't my intention, I promise," the strange-looking dog(?) man you happened to bump into while out for a nighttime walk chuckles out sheepishly as he dips his head in apology, his voice low, gravelly, and layered with a pretty thick-sounding Spanish accent. Surprisingly rather fitting considering his rather tall stature and his rather intimidating appearance between his brightly glowing eyes and the double set of dagger-sharp fangs on him... You could almost say it was maybe a little creepy-looking, especially under the inky darkness of the night sky with the pale light of the full moon at his back... but you refrain from saying it aloud as to not be outright rude to this guy you only just met.

"It's not exactly something I can control, you know? Though I suppose anyone would be a bit scared seeing them for the first time while out at night, wouldn't be the first or the last time it's happened." He makes a vague but indicative gesture towards his face to try and get his point across, the lit cigarette he had with him clutched between his fingers as he puts it to his fanged lips and takes a deep drag from it.

The familiarly acrid scent of the fumes from the cigarette wafts through the air, though there's a pretty potent hint of something else mixed in there with the tobacco too... a more minty sort of aroma that makes it smell at least a bit more pleasant compared to the normal kinds that most people smoke. Despite the initial spook from just seeing his brightly glowing eyes through the mist in the dark only moments ago, he actually seems nice enough from first impressions so far. Just a really casual and chill type of guy, or at least that seemed to be his general kind of vibe from the way he spoke and his pretty easygoing demeanor. He's even courteous enough to turn briefly and blow out the cigarette smoke a good ways away from you, letting the light breeze drifting past carry it off and sparing you from being overwhelmed by the pretty strong smell and the general unpleasantness of it getting puffed right in your face. Turning his attention back to you, he offers a small but warm smile and holds a hand out towards you in offering to shake.

"Name's Santiago, by the way. Santiago Ortega Montez. Pleasure to make your acquaintance, amigo. Please pardon the intrusion, but may I offer you a bit of company on your nighttime venture? If you wouldn't mind having me, of course..."

Ahhhhhh first art commission I got featuring my newest chupacabra boy that I adopted a while back, Santiago! It's a pretty simple animated limited time clone YCH gif piece, but I'm super pleased at how nicely this one really came out! The artist did an absolutely wonderful job depicting my dear boy, I love the look of his little tusks/fangs, his wild, messy, and unkempt hair, and the soft-looking silvery glow of his eyes as they shine in the dark! They even included all of the little details for his outfit like the rip patterns in the collar of his shirt, which I always just really appreciate so much every time! It's a pretty simple little piece overall, but it was a pretty good opportunity to get a piece done for him and this seemed really fitting for him! This is just very well done in general, and I'm super pleased at how nicely it came out in the end! I definitely hope to be able to get more art done featuring my precious chupacabra man sometime in the near future~ <33
