Say hello to the Madermine, a species that
roy_mccloud and i created during a late night discussion. He also created some sketches and i'll put a link to them here when he posts them up. =3
Now if you can't see the writing, which i don't blame you sinceits my chicken scratch ^ ^;;, i'll give you an overview on this species now. The madermine is a hybrid species of an otter and an ermine. (and as far as me and roy are sure, this has not been done by anyone else before, but if we're wrong, feel free to tell us and link us to previously done works of it =3)
Its body is long and sleek, similar to that of an ermine, having webbed paws, like that of an otter and a tail like an otter's, but with a fur pattern like an ermine. And though it has whiskers, it only has a few as to not draw attention away from its other details. Also, as to how much fur it has on its body, it has more than an otter would, but slightly less than that of an ermine. As long as it has these details, we classify it as a madermine. =3
Other secondary details, like fur color, or the size/shape of the secondary color fur patches can vary from madermine to madermine, as well as the size of the pawpads and even the shape of the pawpads. ^ ^
Now that i've babbled on about it, its time to give some feedback on what you all think of it. Any comments are greatly appreciated.
Oh, and if anyone feels like creating their own Madermine character after seeing this sketch here, feel free to do so. Just be sure to give credit to me and Roy as the creators of the species and I'd personally love it if you'd also post a link to your drawings of a madermine either here or on my profile page. I'd love to see your takes on the species =3
Thanks to anyone who took he time to read all this X3
