i actually technically posted this mask already- but after that post i used a bad sealer on it that ruined it and i had to wipe it totally clean and start over. so! i did two more masks after that and before this one, using somewhat different techniques, and then combined the traits of those two masks that i liked best to re-make this one into the ultimate jason mask!
i'm quite pleased with it but i think if i could change one thing it would be to dull the chevrons a bit. they're just a tad too vibrant to match the aging on the rest of the mask.
the other two masks are available for sale, this one won't be unless people express interest in ordering custom ones, so i can afford to replace it.

Look's quite good, I suppose now that you mention it the chevrons are a bit vibrant but I didn't really consider it until you mentioned it. My slight preference would be to have not every hole feature that...not sure what to call it, oozing effect? But that's just me, I like asymmetry. Except of course when I don't. I don't know if any particular film was used as the model but I suppose it's closest in appearance to the 2009 film's mask. Could also be Part III, the OG mask, but it's a bit too worn looking for that one so I'll go with 2009.
the natural asymmetry from doing it by hand was enough for me personally, but i get what you mean. this particular mask isn't based on any particular film, i just combined features/vibes i liked from all the ones i had seen so far. i'd love to try and make more actually based on individual films, but i gotta sell my spares first so i can afford to get more blanks. especially since there's the potential of completely ruining them when i go to add the axe damage...
