Been playing the heck out of Splatoon 3, and I love how much more robust they've made Salmon Run as a game mode. Really hoping they keep expanding on it. Maaaybe even go as far as to give us playable Salmonids in a DLC, like Splatoon 2 did with Octolings? I can dream!
But until I can make my dream of slapping cephalopods in the face with an inkbrush as a fishy gremlin a reality, I figured I'd draw some!

Let me paint (or ink!) you a picture, which could easily be introduced either via an update or a DLC: New type of Salmonid spotted!? They appear to have grown legs! And what's more, they have adapted to wield ink-based weaponry! What could this mean for the Splatlands and Inkopolis at large!? Stay tuned for further updates!
Could be part of a general update which adds a special salmonid wave which pits your group up against a wave of 'Salmonlings' which wield traditional turf war weapons, like elite Octolings do. And as an aside could have a DLC with an additional story mode that integrates these Salmonlings into the world at large, like the Octoling DLC did in Splatoon 2.

I sure wonder how the DLC will be .
I have a feeling it will be different since we had now splatoon 1 2 3 and octopass expansion so basically 4 singleplayer campaigns
so would make sense they change it up for splatoon 3 dlc.
I hope though if we get salmonlings or anything like that they would be avaible for everyone
not only people having dlc .
I still think octolings need more hair options to be even with inklings and i wouldn't mind more hair in general.
for now I hope they bring back all the clothes from 1-2
