So, since around half a year I think, I started to collect cards. Pokémon Cards!
And it has been such a joyful ride for me, picking the prettiest cards to me and putting them in binders.
I recently expanded to also collecting YGO-Cards and soon Digimon Cards and PokémonCoins!

if you're really a collector, you should try getting one of those glossy pokemon cards that came from japan exclusive vending machines, they are not the easiest thing to find but nice to have and not toi expensive on sites like card market
there is the one i currently own:

also, i found out how the rarity of ygo cards comes from the code located in the right side between the image and the box with effect/description & stats, specifically the section that indicates the card's set of origins, if you have a morphing jar with "tp2", it will be far more costly than a dr02 or any other

Ah, I don't collect things for their value, just if I like them or not. ♥
For Pokémon I want to complete a "living" dex, picking the prettiest card for each 'mon!
Same for Digimon, and Yu-Gi-Oh, well, if I like the artwork. xD

honestly, it was more about the artwork than the card's price, there are a few pieces in that set that look pretty gorgeous, with another favourite of mine being omanite

if you want the best looking card for each pokemon, you may consider giving a look to that set anyway, there are some nice looking pieces of artwork (alongside stuff drawn by children)
