One night, Luigi recieves a strange invitation from an unknown person who's hosting a party there, to ensure his brother Mario do not get in trouble again after what happened in the first tittle, he goes out without telling to anyone for safety.
As he arrives, he notices the mansion with an eerie atmoshpere surrounding it, so he's thankful he brought Prof. E. Gadd's Poltergust 5000 in case he encounters any ghost inside.
Just as soon he enters through the main door, Luigi turns on his flashlight and says all nervously:
Luigi: Hello?
???: Hello!
Luigi immediately screams upon hearing and falls back when a huge figure aproaches him, and extend it's hand.
???: Have no fear, you're in my house, so don't worry, I won't hurt you, here let me help you.
As Luigi carefully extends his hand to the stranger's hand, the darkness disapears, revealing the figure of a big grey wolf with white on his hair and tail, wearing only spike bracelets.
The wolf reveals himself to be Wolfrun.
Wolfrun: My name's Wolfrun, and welcome to my mansion, I've been waiting for you, so thank you for coming to my invitation. Come' in! Feel yourself at home.
Luigi: O-o-okie dokie!
As Luigi goes to the main room, a pink ghost appears offering some doughnuts and coffee.
Luigi screams and quickly brings the Poltergust and the flashlight to catch it, but then, the Poltergust flies off Luigi's hands, leaving him completely defenseless.
Wolfrun: STOP! Do not even think about that, behave yourself!
He then pushes Luigi into the couch, as Wolfrun sits down bringing his book and some coffee.
Wolfrun: Sorry I act that way, mr. Luigi. But I won't accept such kind of behavior from you. I know you encounter them befroe, and how evil they were. But I assure you, in my mansion, they all do what I command, so rest assure, no one should hurt as long as I'm here. Now then, want some doughnuts and coffee?
Luigi: O-o-o-ok...
Wolfrun: Good. Ma'm, if you please *Snap his fingers*
The pink ghost returns, once again offering doughnuts and coffee.
Wolfrun: I heard a lot about you and how you been on your brother's back for a long time, and I feel sooner or later you have to be in front on him, took you a lot of courage to do that! I'm impressed! So, any plans to do this Halloween?
Luigi: I-I-I was planning to go and do some trick or treat with my brother, Yoshi and princess Daisy.
Wolfrun: Hmm, it's that so? Well...you wouldn't mind if I come with you? I promise I'll be a good wolf!
Luigi: Sure, no problem, I think...
With such haunted party Luigi ever had, he'll never look at Halloween that way again.
