This was an idea I had ages ago, that I felt could only really have worked as a comic page. And so a comic page was how I drew it, using a modified version of the template I normally use for the SPCM comics (said template normally has five rows of panels, but I chopped off the bottom row for this page).
I've certainly had it mentioned to me at least twice that Abby Clapton bears an uncanny resemblance to Gemma Mildury from Space Gypsy - this was of course unintentional on my part. So naturally, I had to do a page where Abby herself brought it up with Sam Rhys. And for some unknown reason I created more work for myself by deciding that they should be playing tennis at the same time.
(Actually, I do know the reason - it was so I could have Abby gesture towards herself with her tennis racquet in the last panel.)
