Ника, or Nika in a more farmilliar sense, is called the Russian Forest Dog. He was first seen in an undisclosed location, but said to be deep within a forest. As to which forest, it is not known. Blue-green markings on Nika shine a dim light around him. Their are stripes of this color on the fur in certain places, namely the back of the legs, on the tail, and on the forearms. Most fleshy-areas are also teal, including the horns, nose, inside of mouth, pawpads, and genetalia. Pretty much any skin you will see is this teal color, and will glow and the whim this creature. A white tip on the toungue can also change any color of the rainbow, and can glow. Along with the white patches on the forearms.

As for gender, Nika is physically a male for the most part, but is thought to be able to morph genders at will, but this process takes a few days. His horns never dissappear, no matter which gender. His stripes can dissappear and turn into a while color, but are usually blue if he is contented. Nika is refered to as a he no matter which gender he is at the time, usually. He does not often speak, but knows both the Russian and English languages, usually speaking in a hushed voice.
