It's Hip to Be the Hollywood Squares (1986 theme)
The 1986-89 era of The Hollywood Squares, hosted by John Davidson, used a theme by composer Stormy Sachs entitled "It's Hip to Be the Hollywood Squares" (a play on the rock song "It's Hip to Be Square" by Huey Lewis & the News). This is my attempt to arrange that song.
This is for:
Tenor saxophone
Baritone saxophone
Glockenspiel
Xylophone
Electric piano
Electric bass guitar
Crotales
This arrangement (C) me and me alone
Original music composed by Stormy Sachs
The Hollywood Squares (C) Sony Pictures Television and everybody else who owns the rights; the 80s version referenced here was a Century Towers Production, distributed by Orion Television Syndication.
