Noelle (Elle) Declerq

I’m still working on her backstory, but the broad strokes are:

- Born to a single mother, who was a rabbit
- Raised as a rabbit, her antlers were ground down after her first shed
- Wasn’t totally comfortable as a rabbit, but her mom was convinced she’d be stigmatized as a cryptid
- She ground her own antlers until college
- Finally decided that she wanted to try to grow out her antlers
- Subsequently outgrew most of the people she knew and has trouble relating to other cryptids because of her upbringing.
- Currently lives alone and fosters (non-anthro) rabbits. She finds that to be more comfortable. Not perfectly happy, but as happy as she’s ever been.

Personal notes:
- Drinks tea
- Has one rabbit that is too mean to other rabbits to be bonded.
- Does not like Christmas. Doesn’t dislike her name, but it has too much Christmas baggage.
- Big on acceptance and moving on rather than “forgive and forget”

On the subject of her mother and people attempting to raise exotic pets: “Everyone tries their best. But your best and the right thing aren’t the same.”
