One of the true struggles that ABDLs tend to face. It's awesome that she's got someone like Tommy to help show it's ok. Overall, the taboo of diapers really does need to be chipped away until it's small enough to be outright smashed. Various other things that were serious taboos 40 years ago are now portrayed as being more commonplace than the previous social norms. I hope that in our lifetimes, we see ABDL reaching a similar level of acceptance.
You'd be surprised how popular abdl really is. But I'm not. It's becoming more popular for many reasons. Childhood Bedwetting is common amongst diaper fetishists in childhood. But also disabilities. Many people with disabilities such as autism, cerebral palsy, or just incontinence have to wear diapers. People with disabilities find comfort and enjoyment in infantile things. Sadly not everyone wants to associate with disabilities.
Honestly I find the ABDL community thinks it's meta and funny to make diaper humiliation content and I think it just ads to the taboo.
We just never talk about it because it's so inappropriate .

Yeah... I never really understood the whole "forced into diapers" thing... I voiced concern about that once on a forum which shall remain nameless and got such a toxic response, I deleted my account there.
As for the association with disabilities thing... I think the issue there is that not everyone who's into diapers has such disabilities, which makes an inherent "this isn't something we all share" situation. That creates a bit of awkwardness between those who have or readily empathize with disability stuff, and those who don't. It's another gap we need to work on bridging to help unify. But, we are generally becoming more and more aware of things as a whole...
