24 years ago, a 31-year-old coati named Alvaro Montez was among the many anthros from around the world who rushed to join the recently founded IAWF when they opened up for new talent. Already a popular luchador back home in Tijuana, Montez brought his persona with him to the international ring--originally called Hombre de la Noche, he simplified his stagename to Duskman five years after his debut. After much hard work and a 23-year career, a 54-year-old Alvaro finally fulfilled his dream of winning a championship belt during the Central American Smackdown, a highly viewed event hosted in his own home country, and he decided to end his wrestling career on that high note. A few months later, however, he stepped into the ring again, but only to announce his successor. A new masked wrestler made his grand entrance, introduced by Alvaro as Duskman Jr. Not only was he billed as Duskman's son, but that's who he really was too--his true identity was Alvaro's son, 22-year-old Tito Montez. Tito idolized his dad and wanted to be just like him, and upon learning of Alvaro's intent to retire, he decided he wanted to keep the Duskman name alive and made plans with his dad to do exactly that. While not quite a luchador, Tito designed his stage persona to be every bit as superheroic and fun as the original Duskman. Now 23, Tito's dream is to win a championship at least once and become Mexico's new greatest representative, and since his debut, he's done his best to bring himself ever closer to that goal, making his dad proud every step of the way.
