I was gonna work on the comic tonight but I wasn't feeling it, so now we have this... doodle.
Every once in a while I get asked the question about the Niviean's 'unseen parts' and whether or not I'm censoring things or they really just look like that. Well (in case you didn't know) they largely just look like that and most have plenty of fluff to keep things fairly well covered under most circumstances. Asking one to show off their pink bits isn't going to end well since they're fairly self conscious about them despite often running around in the nude.
Now in the private setting they certain can and sometimes do show off these parts... So where's that drawing you may ask if they can in fact do so? Well the back of my mind mostly. I've thought about the possibility of a more in depth anatomy reference showing the configuration of such things (including males) buuuut I seriously doubt that would be used for 'serious purposes' and would probably just end up being used to 'get ones jollies off' so it stays in the dark corners of my mind.
Anywho any further questions can be posted below like usual.

It also kinda disappoints me sometimes whenever I come across someone with a cute or innocent looking artstyle and then I turn the sfw filter off and things get real dirty real quick. I've run into that several times especially on this site and I get sad. (I know this site is kinda infamous for such things and I very rarely browse around here but still)

There are one or two artists I follow that do both. Personally, if I like the character's design, I don't really care if he/she is drawn with nothing left to the imagination or if he/she is drawn leaving everything up to my imagination. That said, when I commission my characters to be drawn or offer them to be used in a comic, I prefer that they be drawn SFW or, at the very worst, drawn tastefully nude.
Interesting. I have followed a similar tactic in the past. But recently he has moved away from it, but this is still not enough in the general mass. Although "anatomical details" can still be drawn in accordance with the furry character (thus showing how much mesa he has). In my case, this is in accordance with the movements and subgroups of the existing race (I made a very complex system for my world with division into groups and subspecies based on climate and lifestyle)
Or at the very least "Anthros wouldn't be nearly as exposed as humans", I could see some thin furred characters having trouble keeping things covered but they're not gonna look like a naked human any way you cut it. I mean when's the last time an actual IRL Cat or Dog had big 'pepperonis' lining its stomach? Never! At most (unless it has pups/kittens) you're not gonna see the nips and even the stuff around the backside isn't super easily seen.
