This actually didn't take too long... about 18 hours or so by my guess. Most of the work was on the wings, which I'm not even sure I like. Greatly inspired by Dee Dreslough's work. PS7 from scratch.'

The sketchiness that I've seen from you so far is just lovely - this looks like a real painting, not a digital one.
I especially love those clouds, they're among the most realistic I've ever encountered. Have you by chance ever tried using a program called Open Canvas, or perhaps Art Rage? Just curious, I'm not sure if you'd like them or not.

Ah, okay, understood. :} I feel the same way about PS7 - I've tried it, but I feel better about sticking to Open Canvas and Art Rage.
Tried Painter as well, and didn't really get too much out of it.
Anyway, yes, you could definitely keep using the program you are using - such beautiful results, IMHO.
