I realized i haven't shared a picture with my fosters in a while, he's the two current ones, Hope and Faith using 
atraties as a jungle gym XD
Hope is very tiny for a rat, she's the black hooded. She and her sister came from a girl who adopted them from petco and then realized that she was not cut out for rats. Faith loves shoulders, Hope loves games. Both are 7 months old or so, though they look look much younger by their size!
Hope has taken to taking leaps of faith whenever the cage is opened. She's escaped so many times I've joked with the rescue about changing her name to "Hopedini"

I'd be willing to bet a bunch of those were bought for kids? I swear, I never understand why so many parents get dwarf hamsters--neh ANY hamster---for their kids. Espcially since some rats do so well with kiddos...even the nicest hamster doesn't compare, being nocturnal and finicky.
I came home to babies tonight!!! (aparently she was preggers when i got her?) I bought her from a pet shop and the boys and grils were in the same cage x.x i have homes for 2 so far already, (keeping a girl and a friend wants a girl) and that leaves 4 girls and one boy if i sexed them right :P she had a total of 7 babies and all but one are girls. Know any one in round rock/austin wanting a rattie?? my gal is dumbo and all the boys in the cage at the pet shop were top eared. shes also a blazed tan turned cream/white albino! i cant wait to see what her babies will look like.
