My papa loved eagles. He had little statues or pictures of them in his house here and there, nothing too extravagant or over the top. When he passed away, my mom got most of his eagles. Now that we live in Colorado (no eagles in our part of Arizona) we see bald eagles a bit more. Every time we do, my mom will make sideways comments like, "Oh, look, Papa is watching us" or "There goes my dad."

Now my mom's boyfriend, he loves eagles the same way my grandpa did (only he has more of them around his house XD)

So for Christmas this year, I thought an eagle would make a fitting gift.
