Due to the fact I stink at shading, I have been experimenting with many forms of shading; from bluring (which turns out horribly wrong), to simple shading like this.
If you have any advice or tips as to how I caan improve my art, it is always appreciated.

Since no one else has, I'll give you some advice. Hopefully helpful. =)
I will be referring to obejects in the art by the audience's point of view, not Krystal's.
First of all, when shading, always remember there should be a light source. Everything must follow the light source's path, and go in that direction. It's a little hard to tell whether light is coming from the northeast or from the right here. I'll imagine it's from the north east.
The tail (The black ball is perfect) should be lighted except for a sliver of dark on the left.
The top left udder should be totally lighted, bottom left should reverse the light and shade, top right udder is fine but the shade it makes should be a ittle more left, bottom right has the same problem as the top right.
Belly down is perfect.
Right side of nose/face should be light, as well as under the mouth should be light.
Right shoulder should be light, and the right arm should be mostly light except for a sliver on the left.
Right arm is good except for the shade under the armpit, that should be lighted. The top of the left breast should be lighted as well.
I...Think that's all. (breaths heavily) The head shape is odd, thought she was wearing her tail as a hat.
I like this art, don't misunderstand. I hope the directions are even slightly helpful, feel free to ask any questions.
