They're these napkin rings from Hobby Lobby, painted with acrylic paint and sealed with glossy Mod Podge. :) The Mod Podge keeps them from scratching when they're being put in the ear, because it's a bit of a tight fit, but that way they don't run the risk of falling out.
And the ears are just two layers of 1/2 inch high density foam from JoAnn's with a hole cut in them for the plugs. Hope that helps!
