everything about this is an absolute treat for the eyes! From the tidy and informative writing and illustrations in the book and its expertly done foreshortening, to the adorable markings on the little mouse-friend, to the beautiful watercolor texturing and gradients on that rising smoke! I just love it to bits!
I am actually really happy with the gradienty mix in that smoke - I'd definitely try it again! I'm SO happy you think the book looks right because that foreshortening was a doozie - a deceptive one that looked like it'd be easy at first, but nope; so many frustrated failed sketches. Thank you as always! <3
