Based on some real life situations whenever I get approached by multiple trouble makers. I actually used that line on a group of six 17 yr. olds. I was trying to give them a pass because they were kids.
About a year ago a couple of drunk dudes were starting trouble in the liquor store where I worked at for a while. I walked out. Turned sideways and said "ready". I expected them both to rush me. They unexpectedly ran out the store into the darkness til I couldn't see them anymore.
