A few years ago, before the panarama happened I had the pleasure of visiting Ireland and the Cliffs of Moher. I took a boat tour which lolled over tipsy, rolling ocean waves that sent me into a constant state of almost hurling while I gripped my camera and the railing taking as many photos as possible. I did in fact manage to keep my lunch, but just barely!
From that trip I had some photos that inspired me to paint this, a proud red dragon overlooking his cliffside domain.
