Anyways, Pendulum was kinda empty for ideas and I didn't wanna make it edgy again.
So this time, it's using Pendulum as a time passage.
We have only seen Biomerge for one season so it's hard to come up for rules for it. But it seems to reflect pretty well the personality of the Tamer more than the digimon. Guilmon's regular mega was Megidramon (tho I knnow it was kinda a dark evo) but with Takato he becomes... a knight? Basically the hero and protector archetype.
Tho the most obvious one has to be Ryu, who makes Cyberdramon go from badass robo dragon line to...a kamen rider wannabe. Perfectly mirrors his hero complex.

In the case of Lavvy, originally, the biomerge was SamuraiKenpedramon, a samurai arguably in name only, because it had nothing of the grace and movements associated to ACTUAL Samurai. Instead it went off the hyped off image a kid has of Samurai: a rugged sword wielder, lacking any actual substance besides aesthetic and violence.
BanchoKenpedramon is ironically enough the opposite. It's based off the thug archetype that comes from the Bancho culture. But it is relatively well dressed, with some royal motifs, like the gold and crown symbolism. It much more reflects Lavvy's maturity, but also acceptance of what she actually is: a fighter that didn't come from a specialized field, but harnessed her negative experiences for a more positive result.
