Name: Concord
Title: King
Gender: Male
Age: 24
Species: Skunk
Sexuality: Heterosexual
Relationship Status: Married
Personality: Concord is usually very sweet and a bit goofy. He is incredibly friendly towards everyone, and a hopeless romantic which allows him to be a loving and faithful husband. He is considered a benevolent monarch. However his kindness does have a limit and there are times where he can be quite snappy. His rage may not be explosive but it does boil and you don't want to see him over-boiled. He also tries his best to help others but often doesn't help himself. This isn't help but him bottling up his emotions as only his queen knows his true feelings.
Appearance: He is a typical black and white skunk. His hair is white and curly. He has a single stripe that runs from his nose to the top of his tail. His two front paws are white which resemble gloves. The fur on his belly and rump are white, and of course his dreamy purple eyes.
Attire - For most royal duties and travel, Concord wears red armor with gray metallic sleeves that cover his upper body. This is usually paired with his golden crown and a sheer cape. His crown is gold with red and purple jewels in it.
Casual - When Concord has a free day, he wears a simple light fabric shirt. It tends to be quite modest, but occasionally he may show a bit of chest fur. Usually by request of his queen.
Pajamas - The King usually just sleeps naked, but wears a red robe if he must get up in the middle of the night.
Occupation: King regent, Executive power, Guardian of the Chi Well, Kingdom Ambassador.
Residence: Grand Palace in the Skunk Kingdom.
Abilities: To access the power of Chi Orbs.
Skills: Combat, Skunk Spray, Painting, Charisma, and Gardening.
Backstory:
Early Life - Concord was born to his mother, who was the reigning queen, and her husband. However Concord has very few memories of his father as his parents divorced when he was 4 years old and his father was just never at home much. He and his mother were incredibly close. Despite having royal duties she always tried to find time for her child. She even homeschooled him herself. The kingdom adored her.
Concord didn't have many friends, since he was the only child of the Queen and heir to the throne he was not allowed to leave the palace to play with other children. His mother did try to throw small festivals and parties so that Concord could interact with kids his age. He spent most of his time learning many creative arts and reading romance novels.
Grief and Coronation - Concord's mom became sick for about 2 weeks. She had seemed to be recovering but one night she suddenly passed away in her sleep. Some say she was poisoned, but doctors believe that she may have had a stroke or simply succumbed to her illness. The entire kingdom was in despair of her sudden departure. No one felt more grief than Concord, however since he was technically the new king he decided to put on a smile to boost the kingdom's spirits. He quickly began royal duties and simultaneously planned his own mother's funeral. All this prevented him from properly grieving which could explain his temper in the current day.
Shortly after the funeral, Concord was officially crowned as King at the age of 22. His coronation ceremony was relatively brief but still special. He wore a pink rose on his suit since it was his mother's favorite flower.
Meeting his Queen - One day a thief had broken into the palace to steal important documents. The thief was captured and thrown into the dungeon. Concord, who had only been king for 2 years at this point, heard about the crook and went to see them in the dungeon personally. To his surprise it was a female cat. He almost immediately fell for her beauty. He didn't believe someone like her would do what she did willingly, so he decided to playfully ask her for an "interrogation" which was actually a dinner date on the palace balcony. The cat told him that her name was Diana. She was completely baffled by the date setting and why the king was treating her so nicely. After a bit of conversation the king gave her a choice. She could rot in the dungeon or get a nice room in the palace but she would have to be under constant surveillance and she wasn't allowed to leave the palace walls without him. She agreed to the latter.
After many months the two grew close. Concord fell in love with Diana's kindness and fairness. At times she was a bit strict or off putting but it made him love her more. Diana never talked about her past despite Concord telling her about his, but he never probed her in case her past was traumatic.
One day the two were bathing together and Diana tried to "Do the Deed" with Concord, but he stopped her saying that by law and his beliefs he couldn't lose his virginity prior to marriage. Concord was disappointed but knew it was for the best. Eventually Diana asked to write a letter to her family. Concord allowed her to do so. A few days later the palace was attacked by the Emperor of the felines, he was Diana's adoptive father. He knocked Concord unconscious and captured him before making plans to take over the entire skunk kingdom.
Diana was in charge of watching his cage. She apologized and clearly didn't want Concord to be harmed. He held no ill will against her. He then told her that her heart will always be in the right place, before kissing her through the bars. After that she left and managed to dethrone her father and free her love.
Since the Emperor had no other heirs, her people wanted to crown her queen. As they were not quite ready to be fully independent. She agreed only on the terms that Concord would marry her. He jokingly hesitated before immediately saying yes !
Wedding Day - The royal wedding between King Concord and Queen Diana wasn't completely perfect. The couple were incredibly nervous and there had been rumors of a terror group. Said group did crash the wedding but we're swiftly handled. Other than that the two had a glorious and romantic wedding.
Present Day - Concord is now a King, a husband, an adoptive brother ,and a guardian of a Chi Well. What is a Chi Well ? That's a story for another time.
