Just Strollin' Along
Well, more like waddling. x3
I'm really happy with how this came out!! I made some design updates here that are subtle, yet very important to me:
* My ears are now smaller and thicker, shaped like the arctic fox that I am!
* My muzzle is shorter and wider, again so that it's shaped correctly.
* Actually by accident, I colored my pawpads the same shade of black as my nose, but I've decided that I like it better than pink, especially because again, arctic foxes have black toe beans!
We arctic foxies look a lot like polar bear cubs - in fact, other than the nose itself, a polar bear cub's head and a "polar fox"'s head actually look VERY similar!
Fun fact: There is actually a "blue morph" of the arctic fox! Yes, they have "blue" fur - although it's more like a slightly bluish gray - and their fur does not change color during the year. This is an instance of polymorphism, so it is not a separate subspecies, rather just a genetic trait, albeit a much more rare one.
However, I am not based off the blue morph arctic fox, I am in fact based on the more common white-furred boi. :3
Another fun fact: Arctic foxes do have paw pads, but like the red panda, they are covered in a thick layer of dense fur. (Red pandas only have the dense fur, and no pawpads. Red pandas are also plantigrade, not digitigrade!)
