This variation of Maeya takes place in a very different universe than the usual modern-fantasy mansion you are used to see. In this world of medial fantasy, filled with magic, knights and dragons, Maeya is part of a special unit, an elite squad of dragon riders. Each dragon rider is equiped with an armour that looks like the dragon they ride, in such a way that when they are on their dragon's back, if you look quickly, they kind of blend in. It also reminds, when they are going around without their dragon, of which beast they are usually riding. And the dragon that Maeya rides is non other than Alkahr, my other fursonna. The mission of the dragon riders: to protect the sacred grove and spirits of nature that live within it. In this elite squad, Maeya is the paladin, the healer of the squad. With his druidic powers, and Alkahr's powerful healing and protective magic, he keeps his partners safe and battle-ready. But don't go thinking he can't defend himself. Maeya is quite the capable fighter himself, and his powerful magic make him very difficult to take down, even more than his teammates. But don't worry, is he kind, and a real gentleman.
